I admit it. I can't read the THE FUNNY PAGES
in the New York Times Magazine.

Do you have to be under the age of 29 to not be overwhelmed when looking at these small-sized combos of words and pictures? I've enjoyed some early graphic novels. I like Lynda Barry, Harvey Pekar, and Daniel Clowes (except Daniel, what the hell happened to the movie version of ART SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL? What was that?). I like some comic books. Why don't I find these Pages interesting?

Now I read the Funny Pages. My husband has been reading them for a while now. He enjoyed Watergate Sue. (http://www.nytimes.com/ref/magazine/funnypagesWatergate.html?_r=1&oref=slogin)
