Sue Soltis’ newest picture book,The Stars Just Up the Street, illustrated by Christine Davenier, comes out March 2020 (Candlewick Press). Her Nothing Like a Puffin, illustrated by Bob Kolar (Candlewick Press, 2011), was cited as a Charlotte Zolotow Award Highly Commended Title (2012) and selected for “The Schoolies—Best Picture Books of 2011” (Top Teaching blog, Scholastic). A published poet with an MA in English from Binghamton University, Sue grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania, and lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with her husband and two sons (and two cats).
