3x3 Call for Entries

call for entries: 3x3 Int'l Children’s Show
Deadline: April 22, 2011
We're now accepting entries for the 2011 Children's Show. More than just children's books. More than just children's books published in the United States. Our competition includes anything and everything related to reaching children under the age of 12 as well as a specific category for young adults. Published and unpublished. And we're international—entries are accepted from every country and as always judged by a distinguished panel of judges. Winners will be featured in our 3x3 Illustration Annual No. 8 which will be distributed internationally at leading bookstores and newsstands.

why 3x3?
The 3x3 ProShow is the only truly international competition for illustration. No other show is as completely international as ours. While many shows showcase the work of their own country’s illustrators, 3x3 knows no boundaries.
¶ Each year we receive entries from all corners of the globe and we’re the only show where the judging panels are truly international.
¶ And we’re the only show that puts their exclusive illustration annual on the newsstand at a price that every art director can afford. And with our unique size we’re front and center on the shelf. Greater visibility for our winners. Greater visibility for illustration as a whole.
¶ Plus our winners will be invited to participate in our next 3x3 Illustration Directory which is mailed out free to a highly targeted list of 6,000+ art directors and art buyers in the US.

deadline
Children’s Show entries must be sent to us no later than April 22, 2011

About 3x3
3x3 is the first magazine devoted entirely to the art of contemporary illustration.
We take an in-depth look at the art and environment of three illustrators. We explore their influences. How they work with clients. How they got their
first big break. Each article is written by a fellow illustrator who knows exactly what our audience wants to hear. From the US to Europe, Asia or wherever, we’ll stay tuned to what’s going on in the world of illustration.
