Eye Chart for the very young

Q and A with designer Leah Dumigan:  (http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/09/garden/momas-destination-design-series-finally-features-new-york-citys-homegrown-talent.html?smid=pl-share)

Her best answer?

A. The funny thing about the jury was I went in there, like, “Oh, this is nothing!” — because my daughter had just been born and I felt pretty empowered. What could they ask me that I couldn’t answer? I had just given birth to a real human person.

(But now that I think about it, this didn't work for Sarah Palin.)

Jemmy Button

Italian illustrator Valerio Vidali has collaborated with American illustrator Jennifer Uman to make a magical little book, 'Jemmy Button', the story of a boy from Tierra del Fuego who is bought by HMS Beagle's captain with a pearl button, sent to England to be 'civilized', only to return to the jungle a year later...
