A fine portrait of a fine art dealer. Betty Parsons was probably the most important art dealer in America during the 40's and 50's. She discovered and first exhibited most of the abstract expressionists. One Wednesday a very young Robert Rauschenberg walked into her gallery. "I only look at artist's work on Tuesdays," she told him. "Can't we pretend it's Tuesday?" Rauschenberg replied. Soon she gave him his first show.
